Eastlands Homes has developed a Green Strategy to address the issues of climate change and reduction of natural resources that is increasingly affecting everyone.
The Strategy supports Eastlands vision of creating a better future for you and your children in safe and successful neighbourhoods and links to all six of Eastlands objectives in different ways, but in particular Quality of Life.

A three year, prioritised action plan supports this strategy.
In summary, Eastlands Homes aims to support initiatives that:
- Make energy provision more affordable for customers;
- Improve the efficiency of our homes;
- Reduce the impact of climate change;
This will be achieved by:
- Working with our partners - to learn and share experience as well as gaining economies of scale;
- Maximising grant and other external funding opportunities;
- Promoting lifestyle changes particularly those that are available to everyone;

Piloting products and systems that contribute to the aims;
In order to pursue these objectives a Green Team has been established. This team has representation from our customers, Board members, staff from different departments within Eastlands Homes and external partners.
