Before the investment programme started our targets were:
- By the end of the 5-year investment programme to have made 19957 improvements
In the two years to date we have already made close to 10,000 improvements
- All homes to reach the Decent Homes standard or beyond
At the start of the programme 986 out of 5237 homes met the standard
At the start of March 2010 there are now 2000 homes that meet the standard
- ll homes to have at least one improvement by March 2011
We are on track to have completed at least one improvement to 5,000 homes and the remaining homes (around 250) have been offered improvements which will take place in 2011/12 subject to access arrangements.

We have also made a start on our £13m environmental programme, tackling hot spots in various areas following consultation with local residents.
A major scheme of highway improvements is starting at the Anson Estate in summer 2011. This work is being carried out in partnership with MCC Highways. We have agreed to extend the scope of their planned works and contribute financially to an enhanced scheme.
